Police have accused a Washington man making an attempt to place his canine down by slitting her throat and leaving her behind close to Laughlin.
Wayne Johnson, 76, was arrested Thursday and charged with animal cruelty in reference to a canine discovered close to Laughlin again in March affected by a gashed head and slit throat, in response to a Metropolitan Police Department arrest warrant.
