SYLMAR — A person who allegedly jumped into the rain-swollen Pacoima Wash within the Sylmar space Monday in hopes of rescuing his canine was finally rescued himself by Los Angeles Fire Department crews.
According to the LAFD, the person was seen leaping into the water round 2:45 p.m., prompting fireplace crews to stage alongside bridges and different access factors down the river.
Crews positioned the canine a short while later. Fire officers mentioned the animal had managed to swim to the river’s edge to security.
The man was additionally noticed, and a swift-water rescue staff member was lowered into the water. The rescuer was in a position to seize the person, and each have been hoisted out of the water by a helicopter, fireplace officers mentioned.
