KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI – A female attempting to obtain her dogs was presumably shot and killed by her ex-boyfriend, according to a court file.
Tami Sue Nickles, 48, went to her ex-boyfriend Robert Nizzardini’s home on Autumns Way Boulevard to get her dogs on Friday, May 5, a likely cause affidavit from Kalamazoo County District Court said. She was contended Nizzardini’s home off KL Avenue, west of 8th Street in Oshtemo Township.

Nizzardini, 57, was arraigned Monday, May 8, on one felony count each of open murder and felony guns, together with a misdemeanor count of domestic violence.
The couple was going through a controversial break up, the affidavit said. Nickles had actually reported May 4 that she hesitated of Nizzardini and he had actually been stalking her, the affidavit said.
