A person has been charged after a chihuahua was killed in a canine attack in Glasgow.
Police Scotland launched an investigation after a 25-year-old lady was injured and her pet canine killed in an attack within the metropolis’s Finnart Street on Monday 18 March.
At the time, the drive stated the lady was left with a wound on her again however didn’t require any medical therapy.
It was initially reported by the police that the incident concerned “two XL bully-type dogs”.
In a later enchantment, the drive described the animals as “two giant dogs” because the breed had but to be confirmed.
It was then established that whereas two dogs had been current, just one was accountable for the deadly attack.
In an update on Thursday, police introduced a 49-year-old man had been arrested and charged in reference to offences below the Dangerous Dogs Act.
The man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal and was as a result of seem at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
The drive added officers had seized the canine suspected to have been concerned within the incident.
