Three individuals have been left injured after a canine attack in Edinburgh.
Emergency companies have been referred to as to the Craigentinny Road space of the town at round 8.30am on Thursday after receiving stories that three individuals had been bitten by a canine.
Two have been taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and one person was handled on the scene.
The canine concerned within the attack has been seized, police mentioned.
Its homeowners, a person, 31, and a lady, 27, have been charged in reference to the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson mentioned: “Around 8.30am on Thursday, November 30, 2023, officers obtained a report of three individuals having been bitten by a canine within the Craigentinny Road space of Edinburgh.
“Emergency companies attended and a one person was handled by paramedics on the scene. Two individuals have been taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for remedy.
“The canine has been seized.
“The owners of the dog, a 31-year-old man and an 27-year-old woman, have been charged in connection with the incident. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
