A canine proprietor accused of proudly owning two “combating dogs” will seem in court docket after one allegedly injured a lady whereas being “dangerously uncontrolled”.

Amar Majid – whose tackle is listed as HMP Northumberland – is because of attend Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Monday following an alleged incident on Marton Road, in Middlesbrough, on November 14, final yr.



Majid, 35, is charged with two counts of possessing “combating dogs” – Coco and Kilo – and being the proprietor/person accountable for a canine dangerously uncontrolled inflicting harm. The fees state: “On 14/11/2023 at Middlesbrough, have been the proprietor of a canine, particularly a Pit Bull Terrier, which was dangerously uncontrolled in Marton Road Middlesbrough and while so uncontrolled injured [name of alleged victim].

“On 14/11/2023 at Middlesbrough had in your possession or custody a canine to which part 1 of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 utilized, particularly a Pit Bull Terrier named Coco.

“On 14/11/2023 at Middlesbrough had in your possession or custody a canine to which part 1 of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 utilized, particularly a Pit Bull Terrier named Kilo.”
