Per week in the past, their future appeared unsure. But now little Belle and Arlo have discovered new properties – simply in time for Christmas.

The lovable Cavachon puppies have been born in an animal shelter round eight weeks in the past after their mom was deserted whereas she was pregnant. 

After their plight was featured within the Daily Mail, two households got here to their rescue.

Yesterday Belle spent her first Christmas Day cuddling up with ten-year-old Noah Bennett and his grandmother, Caroline, 64, at their home in Bristol. 

Meanwhile, Arlo loved the festivities with Sarah Lambourne and her twin daughters, 11-year-olds Izzy and Sophie, in Bideford, Devon.

Noah advised the Mail: ‘Belle is nice. She’s bought numerous power and she or he’s a bit naughty.’

Caroline added: ‘We’ve misplaced some much-loved household pets in recent years. So once we noticed Belle’s story within the Daily Mail, we jumped on the probability to present her a home’.

Belle and Arlo have been amongst 12 puppies from two litters of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Bichon Frise-crosses born at Many Tears Animal Rescue, close to Llanelli, in South Wales, which has seen twice as many dogs deserted this yr. 

Ms Lambourne took Arlo home as a present for the twins after seeing his image on-line. She mentioned: ‘They love him, he is their excellent Christmas current.’

The rescue centre is taking care of 400 animals and appealed for anybody on the lookout for a puppy to contemplate getting in touch.
