LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – Lorain County Dog Kennel (LCDK) is almost complete, with couple of pups headed to their permanently houses.
According to LCDK’s Facebook page, they are entirely out of open big cages and just have 4 open little cages.
“Dogs just keep coming in – and very few are leaving,” the page said. “We’ve had very little in the way of adoptions – and have some fantastic dogs that have been here for a long time through no fault of their own! Please consider stopping by to meet your new best friend. They need you!”
LCDK said they have actually not euthanized for space in almost 9 years, and strategy to stay with this in the future.
But, they are dealing with minimal space to permit more dogs to come in, keeping in mind some long-lasting locals of the kennel ending up being uneasy without a home.
So if you’re searching for a furry buddy or a buddy for life, now is the time!
The kennel is open Tuesday through Saturday, with more info about hours, available pups and the adoption procedure available on their website and Facebook.
