DUNCANVILLE — A small little one died in Duncanville after a canine attack, police stated.

Just after 10:30 a.m. Monday, Duncanville cops have been referred to as to a home within the 1500 block of Lime Leaf Ln. the place it was reported a small little one had been attacked by a canine. 

Officers and paramedics instantly started performing life-saving measures on the unconscious little one, Duncanville PD stated. 

Officers offered an emergency escort for Duncanville Medics to take the kid to the Children’s Medical Center in Dallas as a result of severity of the accidents. 

The little one was pronounced lifeless shortly after arriving on the hospital. 

Duncanville Animal Control responded to the scene and took possession of the canine. Duncanville PD didn’t say who the canine belonged to.

The investigation is ongoing and there’s potential for prison costs to be filed, Duncanville Police stated.
