The Lakeshore Humane Society will maintain its nineteenth annual Pat McGee Memorial Dog Walk on Sunday, Sept. 24 on the Lakeshore Humane Society Adoption Center, 431 E. Chestnut St. in Dunkirk. This occasion is called in honor of the late New York state Sen. Pat McGee who labored to combat animal cruelty and supported Buster’s Law, also called the Felony Animal Cruelty Law. The identical day and site, LHS can even maintain a drive-through, take-out Weidner’s Chicken Barbecue, in addition to a basket raffle. These actions are rain or shine. Dress-up your canine for this costume walk! (But all dogs are welcome to take part, even when not in costume!)
