A Lake District search canine startled a drunk man who had handed out on a path.
Broch, a member of the Lake District Rescue Searchdogs staff and his handler Rob Grange, have been referred to as out after Keswick Mountain Rescue Team had a report that there was an unconscious drunk man on the Cumbrian Way at round 1am on Saturday, March 2.
The staff, who have been coming back from one other callout, set off to seek out the person, however he was not on the location given to them.
The searchdog staff mentioned: “After a search by Broch, he was discovered about 0.5km away.
“When Broch indicated on the physique along with his customary bark, it was answered with a reasonably loud and alarmed expletive from the sleeping individual!
“The team then walked him down to a waiting ambulance.”
