A lady is in hospital tonight after a savage canine assault that noticed the animal chew her face, neck and arms.
Merseyside police confirmed officers have been referred to as to a home on Orrets Meadow Road on the Woodchurch Estate, Birkenhead at 5.30pm after receiving stories a lady, in her 50s, had been bitten. A person additionally suffered accidents to his hand through the incident.
The lady was taken to hospital following the assault for remedy for her accidents. The man was handled on the scene.

The canine is believed to be of a pit bull breed. A person in his 50s has been arrested on suspicion of proudly owning a banned breed and having a canine dangerously uncontrolled.
