Kyle RNLI said teams are “happy to help” to prevent others going into the water and possibly getting in difficulty themselves.
A rescue operation was released in the Scottish Highlands to save a dog that had actually ended up being stranded on a rock as the tide cleaned in.
The alarm was raised after a member of the general public spotted stricken Skye around 100m from Erbusaig Bay coast at around 5pm on Saturday.
Kyle RNLI got here on the scene 5 minutes later on and coaxed the “scared” dog to safety.
She was then reunited with her nervous owners.
A representative for Kyle RNLI said: “We’re happy Skye was unhurt from her experience, and we are just too happy to help.
“The last thing we desire is for somebody to go into the water to attempt and help their family pet, just to enter into trouble and wind up as a casualty themselves.”
