North Yorkshire Police say a person was bitten by a canine on Mill Lane in Knaresborough at about 9.30pm on Saturday, August 26.
A police spokesman stated: “The canine’s proprietor had 4 or 5 dogs of various breeds, which had been black and lightweight colors.
“He was described as a person in his 50s carrying a plaid gray or white jacket.
“The man who was bitten was injured throughout the incident.”
