An Aussie teen has spoken out after her help canine was rejected from a Jetstar flight regardless of being beforehand allowed to fly with the airline.

Jetstar just lately rejected an software to let Myles Herrin fly together with her retired greyhound Rosie from Perth to Melbourne subsequent month.

Jetstar’s insurance policies requires help dogs to be registered below Queensland authorities laws or recognised by Assistance Dogs International (ADI).

However, the Disability Discrimination Act says service dogs might be accredited by any state or territory regulation or accredited by a prescribed animal coaching organisation.

The teen’s mom, Filipa Herrin stated Virgin Airlines had given her verbal affirmation that Myles can fly together with her help canine subsequent month.

In a press release, Jetstar confirmed that help dogs had been required to fulfill requirements set by the Queensland authorities or by ADI.
