Queenslanders are asked to make their voices heard on possible harder laws for owners of unsafe dogs.
The state federal government has released a discussion paper to request input on steps to punish “reckless dog owners”, and to keep the neighborhood safe from unsafe dogs.
The propositions consist of possible prison time for owners after major dog attacks, a statewide requirement for all dogs to be “efficiently managed” in public locations, and the prohibiting of limited dog types.

Submissions on the conversation paper can be provided till midnight on Thursday 24 August.
