Jada Pinkett Smith is introducing the most recent member of her household!

On Tuesday, the actress, 51, revealed on Instagram that she has adopted a rescue canine.


“Say hello to Lucco … my new rescue🐶🐾😍,” she captioned the postsharing a close-up picture of the tan-and-white pup’s face because it lounged within the grass.

Lucco arrives almost three years after French bulldog Bandit joined the Smith crew, who embody Pinkett Smith’s actor-husband, Will Smith, and their youngsters Willow, 22, and Jaden, 25. At the time, The Matrix Resurrections star mentioned the animal was a present for her forty ninth birthday, from none apart from well-known canine whisperer Cesar Millan.


“Meet one of many new hosts of @redtabletalk 😆,” she joked, alongside a video clip of the tiny puppy trying sleepy because it nestled inside a provider.


“Thank you to my brother and my buddy for almost 3 many years (😬) @cesarsway for my birthday present … Banditi aka Bandito 🐶💛,” her post continued.


Willow made a cameo within the background of the video, prompting her to coo, “My little child Bandit and my little child Willow.”


“But Bandit’s my new one,” she added. “He simply went on a path walk and he’s actually drained. I received him for my birthday, he is such a cutie pie.”



Pinkett Smith later supplied extra glimpses of the playful pooch — and the distinctive black spots surrounding his eyes — in a pair of clips posted on her Instagram Story. “This puppy is essentially the most chill pup eva!😆” she captioned footage of Bandit sleeping in his mattress.


“Just received completed operating Bandit all world wide,” she added, explaining the canine’s want for a protracted snooze.


The second video captured Bandit tugging and dragging a T-shirt throughout the kitchen flooring earlier than carrying it off to his mattress. “His side-eye, it’s all that side-eye,” Pinkett Smith quipped, because the animal coveted his new treasure.




The Collateral star has seemingly been having fun with slightly additional downtime since her Facebook Watch present Red Table Talk was canceled in April after guardian firm Meta shut down the platform and its authentic programming. However, she not too long ago teased that the favored present may quickly have a second chapter.

While chatting with PEOPLE in June about her upcoming memoir Worthy, the star promised that the present — which she co-hosts with Willow and her mom, Adrienne Banfield-Norris — is “positively coming again.”




“We’ve had a few platforms attain out to us,” she revealed. “And we’ve got some fascinating avenues that we’re taking a look at now. You know me, I’m at all times in search of the subsequent modern factor.”
