An Italian lady was “torn apart” and fatally trampled by her bro’s dog while she tried to feed the canine today, according to regional reports.

Patrizia La Marca, 53, had actually visited her bro’s home in the northern resort town of Ventimiglia Wednesday afternoon to look after his Rottweiler when the dog all of a sudden assaulted her.

Neighbors who heard her weeps called for help, with very first responders getting to the scene at around 4 p.m., according to La Stampa.

They discovered La Marca in a swimming pool of blood, with serious bites to her head, arms, chest and shoulders.

It took very first responders 2 hours to help La Marca due to the dog’s hostility, with police ultimately shooting and hurting the canine prior to taking it to a city kennel, the reported newspaper.

“I have never seen anything like it,” the employee said.

“A similar case has never occurred in the town as far as I can remember,” said Mayor Isio Cassini. “I am very sorry for [La Marca] and her family.”

Authorities are examining the event. It is uncertain if the dog will be put down.
