Irresponsible canine house owners are persevering with to disregard a Lockerbie nature reserve’s supervisor’s plea to wash up after their pets.
Jim Rae collected 33 luggage of canine filth from an 800 metre stretch of path at Eskrigg Nature Reserve on Saturday alone.
Mr Rae posted on Facebook: “In recent weeks, when I’ve achieved my Saturday canine poo patrol, the variety of canine poos I’ve needed to decide up has been in single figures.
“However, on Saturday morning I needed to decide up 33 canine poos alongside an 800m stretch of path.
“I am aware that there are several responsible dog walkers using the woodland walks at Eskrigg Reserve, but come on the rest of you guys, start acting responsibly.”
