An examination has actually been introduced after the body of a ‘mutilated’ dog was discovered in Paisley.

The Boerboel-type dog was found in a shallow puddle of water at Glennifer Braes Country Park on Thursday early morning.

Distressing pictures of the dog thought to be called Huncho, reveal him depending on a little swimming pool at the park, reports the Daily Record.

It’s been recommended that the body of the dog remained in a partial state of decay, indicating it might have been there for a long time.

A Scottish SPCA representative said: “This has actually been reported to us and is now a continuous examination so we are not able to comment any even more.”
