SHIAWASSEE COUNTY, MI– The Shiawassee County Constable’s Workplace is requesting for the general public’s help discovering the owner of a dog that was discovered deserted with what authorities referred to as an extreme throat injury.
The dog, a German Shepherd type, was just recently discovered at the corner of Newburg and Scribner roadways in Shiawassee Area, according to the constable’s workplace. It had a throat injury that regional vets informed detectives is a sign of an ingrown collar.
Authorities stated the dog is at least 1 years of age. It is presently in foster care and is being dealt with for injuries that will need surgical treatment.
The Shiawassee County Humane Society is asking for contributions to cover the expenditures of the surgical treatment.
A faded silver Dodge Grand Caravan with a damaged guest side headlight and a harmed guest fender was seen in the location, authorities stated.
