A lady and a six-months-old kid were hurt terribly after being assaulted by a family pet dog inside the lift of a property society at Sector 50 here, authorities said on Tuesday.
The event occurred in the night on July 28 at Unitech Fresco. The authorities submitted an FIR versus the dog owner on Monday at Sector 50 Police Station.
Jaswinder Singh, a British person and a local of Unitech Fresco, submitted an authorities problem versus the dog owner.
On July 28 around 11:30 pm, Singh, his partner and child entered into the lift from the 7th flooring to go to the basement, the plaintiff said. The lift, which likewise had a Zomato shipment man, stopped at the 5th flooring.
“We thought someone came to get into the lift but no one came. Our child started crying and suddenly a pet dog pounced on my wife and child and injured them badly,” Singh said in the problem.
“The dog was off leash and I was trying to defend my family and delivery person Harish was also holding the door of the lift,” he said, including that the family pet owner Vriti Loomba permitted the event to take place.
Singh said that Loomba apologised for the event later on however some locals of the society psychologically pestered his family on a Whatsapp group. “I want strict action against the dog owner,” he said.
Following the problem, an FIR was signed up versus Vriti Loomba under Section 289 (irresponsible conduct with regard to animal) of IPC at Sector 50 Police Station on Monday. A senior law enforcement officer said that the matter is under examination.
