WATERLOO — Authorities are attempting to identify how a cherished family animal developed into a killer, assaulting an infant in a disaster that shook the Waterloo neighborhood.
Police and Animal Control authorities were contacted us to a dog attack inside the single-family home at 1280 Scott Ave. around 7:20 a.m. Thursday.
The 9-month-old baby passed away at the scene.
