Indiana man, 20, is charged with raping family dog and threatening to eliminate his mom

A 20-year-old Indiana man apparently made love with his family’s dog prior to threatening to eliminate his mom with a hammer after she saw the attack.

Blake Reffett, from Elkhart, Indiana, was charged with bestiality and intimidation with a fatal weapon on June 9 after his mom apparently saw him raping the dog while it was pinned to the sofa in March in 2015, reports the Elkhart Truth.

His mom informed authorities that Reffett had actually gotten a hammer and informed her to rest on the sofa and not to call the polices. The 20-year-old threatened to strike her in the confront with the hammer, eliminate her, and after that burn her body if she did so, reports Goshen News

Reffett’s mom declared that he escaped from their home quickly later on which implied she might call the polices. 

Officers reached the family home in Elkhart and discovered that the dog had red marks and blood on him.

A vet carried out an initial evaluation of the dog and identified the animal with injury, consisting of injury around the canine’s foreskin. 

Cops later on carried out a search warrant at the family home on June 10 in 2015 and said they heard Reffett making a recommendation to positioning a struck on his mom.

Reffett was apprehended and booked into the Elkhart County Jail in early March, where he is being hung on a $50,000 bond.

Reffett’s case is scheduled for a jury trial on February 19, 2024.
