She grew up within the Berkshires space of Western Massachusetts and not too long ago obtained a BFA in photojournalism from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, N.Y., within the spring of 2023. During her time at RIT she interned on the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in Pittsburgh, Pa., and the Rapid City Journal in Rapid City, S.D., earlier than making the transfer to Minnesota.
