A visitor has been unnoticed of pocket – after refusing to spend an evening at Stoke-on-Trent’s worst-rated lodge. The visitor booked in at The Crown Hotel, in Longton, in January.
But they later walked out after the ‘TV did not work, there was no wi-fi, and folks have been knocking on the bed room door promoting medicine’. The lodge has not responded to the visitor’s expertise.
The TripAdvisor overview states: “People attempting to interrupt into my automobile, folks knocking on my bed room door providing to promote medicine, a TV that did not work, and no wi-fi. I would not let my canine keep there. I left at 9pm, complained, and by no means obtained my money again.”
The King Street lodge has 331 TripAdvisor opinions. Sixteen company have rated the lodge as ‘glorious’ – however 204 company have posted ‘horrible’ opinions.
The most-recent overview – posted final month – delivers a one-star ranking.
The visitor added: “This is the worst lodge I’ve ever seen in my life.”
The latest opinions come as social media reviewer George Redfern has stopped within the £35-a-night lodge. He says he found a TV with out the distant, a ripped carpet, and a damaged kettle.
