The Metropolitan Police confirmed an attack had taken place and that an investigation was beneath approach.
A spokesman stated: ‘Police have been referred to as at 17:42hrs on Friday, 20 October to Shoreditch Park, N1 following experiences of a canine attacking one other canine.
‘Officers attended, nonetheless nobody was situated on the scene.
‘The injured canine had been taken to the vets by the proprietor. We have since spoken with the proprietor and an investigation has been launched.
‘No arrests have been made. Enquiries are ongoing.’
