A VETERINARY technician has raged about having had terrible experiences with a selected canine breed and their house owners.

She listed all the explanations she “hates” the canines as she urged folks to not get one.

People who’ve labored carefully with pets have confessed the business has modified their ideas on some animals.

Vet techs took to Reddit to debate the canines they now vow to not personal.

A high response got here from an individual venting about doodles.

“I literally cannot stand doodles and their owners,” she wrote.

“We see a s**t ton of them where I am like 1 in 3 of our canine patients is a doodle of some sort.

“Bernedoodles, Sheepadoodles, Goldendoodles, Colliedoodles, Doberdoodles, etc etc etc the list goes on and on.

“If the breed exists it’s been doodled and I’ve probably seen it at this clinic.

“And their owners are SO entitled.

“‘I paid $5,000 for this dog and the breeder told me preventatives were a scam!

“I’m not listening to you’ – 9/10 times how the conversation goes.

“Cool! I hope they all get heartworms and die off!

“I’m not exaggerating, of ALL of the patients I’ve met that were doodles maybe 3 or 4 of them were well-mannered, well-trained good dogs.”

I’m a vet & wouldn’t own 5 dogs – watch out for a breed prone to pricy back problems & secretly-high-maintenance pooches

“I’ve been at this clinic for 2 years,” she continued.

“ALL those other doodles were 1) neurotic 2) aggressive 3) extremely skittish and fearful 4) bouncy and nippy to the point where it took multiple people to hold 5) so thickly matted we had to shave just for an HWT [heartworm test] blood draw.

“I hate them. They should not exist and I will always advise people not to get one.

“JUST GET A F**KING POODLE!!!”

DOODLE DRAMA

Other Reddit customers agreed and complained in regards to the breed’s habits making them untrustworthy.

“Doodles. Any kind,” one person stated.

“Can’t stand them and they all look the same and act the same.

“Also pugs and bulldogs because of the breathing and grossness.

“Most little dogs. Huskies for obvious reasons.”

Can’t stand them and so they all look the identical and act the identical.

“Due to heart disease – no cavaliers, Dobies, boxers, wolfhounds, deerhounds,” one other stated.

“Due to cancer – no berners, goldens, flat coats, Rotties, greyhounds.

“Due to being complete lemons – no bulldogs, Frenchies, bull terriers, most Rotties, Berners, doodles, most goldens.

“Due to I hate snoring – all brachycephalics.”

“I would never own any dog that I couldn’t reasonably lift up on my own, in case of an emergency,” a 3rd commented.

“Also, no brachycephalics.

“But breed-specific: Rottweilers always seem to have a hair trigger so I don’t trust them.

“I also don’t like most ‘doodles.’

“Would totally have a lab, or a golden, or a poodle (if it wasn’t for the grooming), but mix them together, and they are just nuts.”

UNPOPULAR OPINION

Despite the flood of individuals saying they wouldn’t personal a doodle, the breed wasn’t talked about by the person who initially began the thread.

“German shepherds, huskies, chihuahuas, labs, dachshunds, Rottweiler, mastiff, cane corso, JRT [Jack Russell terrier], pugs… probably more I am missing,” she listed.

“I think I’ve narrowed a few breeds down to the ones I actually like. cavaliers, goldens, and boxers lol.

“I do like some of the Yorki/Malti Poos and Shih Tzus. Although I wouldn’t want to own one due to horrible teeth.

“Shepherds are definitely at the top of my list. I don’t trust them as far as I can throw them.

“I’ve only met a few nice ones.”
