Hundreds of dogs to contend in 17th yearly Frankenmuth Dog Bowl

FRANKENMUTH, MI — The Frankenmuth Dog Bowl, promoted as the world’s biggest Olympic-design celebration for dogs, goes back to Michigan’s “Little Bavaria” this Memorial Day weekend.

The 17th yearly Frankenmuth Dog Bowl celebration happens Saturday, May 27, and Sunday, May 28, at Frankenmuth River Place Shops and consists of numerous dogs completing in occasions like DockDogs and Disc Dogs of Michigan competitors, border collie sheep-herding presentations, an animal parade and outfit contest, technique competitors and doggy enjoyable run races, according to a Frankenmuth Dog Bowl press release.

The yearly occasion is anticipated to draw more than 100,000 visitors to Frankenmuth over the vacation weekend. Memorial Day is Monday, May 29.
