LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) – The Lynchburg Humane Society is working to get a dog back home after it was wrongfully distributed.
Saturday, April 22, the dog was “wrongfully given away by a family member” in the gentle society car park to somebody, according to LHS. The situations of the occurrence have actually not been explained, however LHS desires the general public to understand it had no participation in the deal, and wishes to get the dog back to his family.
The gentle society is searching for the individual who got the dog from the member of the family, and hopes that individual “will do the right thing and get the dog back to its original family.”
LHS composes, “Please understand, the person that has the dog now did not do anything wrong, they didn’t steal the dog and was likely not aware of this complicated situation and that the person giving away the dog, shouldn’t have done so.”
The family is using a benefit.
LHS is checking out security video footage to see if video cameras caught anything that will help get the dog back home.
If you have any info about this dog, you’re asked to email [email protected].
