Happy birthday Bobi!
The world’s oldest dog, Bobi, has actually simply commemorated his 31st birthday.
He commemorated in design, with more than 100 visitors, and even a dance performers showing up to honour the hound!
Leonel Costa, who is Bobi’s owner, said his dog gets a great deal of attention as the world’s oldest dog, and reporters from all over the world concerned take a photo of him.
Bobi is obviously presently in good health, after an effective recent check-up at the veterinarians. Leonel explains him as “one of a kind” including he attempts to keep him in a “calm, tranquil environment” to keep him healthy and happy.

Bobi is a pure-blooded Rafeiro do Alentejo, which is a Portuguese breed of dog. His record age was validated by the Portuguese federal government’s animal database.
The dogs are called after the location of Portugal that they are from – the Alentejo area in the south. They are well-known for taking care of animals like sheep and cows.
The dogs typically have a typical life span of 12-14 years, which Bobi has more than doubled!
Previous all-time record holder was a dog called Bluey in Australia, who made it to the age of 29 in 1939.

Bobi holds the record for the world’s oldest dog, however what about the world’s oldest cat, or tortoise?
Well the world’s oldest cat is 27 years of ages – comparable to around 120 in human years.
