Palos Hills residents had been scammed out of $400 after responding to a Facebook publish promoting French bulldog puppies on the market, police mentioned.
PALOS HILLS, IL — Residents hoping to purchase a French bulldog puppy that was posted on Facebook had been scammed by the vendor, who failed to provide the puppy, Palos Hills police reviews mentioned.
Officers responded to a misleading follow report April 6 on the 8400 block of West 103rd Terrace. The residents informed police they noticed a publish on Facebook promoting French bulldog puppies on the market.
After inquiring in regards to the pup, the vendor demanded $400 for proof of immunization, which the residents paid by way of Apple Wallet app. Police mentioned the vendor failed to provide the puppy and didn’t reply to residents’ inquiries.
