The shooting occurred Wednesday, April 19, at Champion Landscape Supplies on Highway 6.
Houston Police Department’s Major Offenders Division was appointed to the case. The animal’s owner, George Baiamonte, informed ABC13 he is ravaged.

“He killed it. He directly killed it,” Baiamonte said.
The dog, a 2-year-old Doberman, went all over with Baiamonte. He called him “Big Red Dog,” however his complete name was Sir Dobie Willow.
He was a psychological assistance animal, Baiamonte said, and they were close.
“I do not have kids so he was my replacement kid. I got up, there he was. He’d lean his head over. He’d take a look at me. I’d inform him, ‘Good early morning.’ We would consume together, collaborate,” he said.
So, recently, the dog was with George when he was getting landscape products with his niece. They let the dog out to ease itself and the next thing Baiamonte heard was shooting.
“I heard 2 shots. At the minute I heard the 2 shots, I looked right out my window and saw this man stepping towards my dog and putting 3 more shots into his head,” Baiamonte said. “That was distressing. That was distressing in itself. (I) would have never ever believed, in a million years, to go someplace I regular typically, that a staff member would eliminate my animal.”
