FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A homeless lady is dealing with several charges after being implicated of punching an individual and a dog in its face and after that holding a knife to its throat in Fort Lauderdale last month, authorities verified Thursday.
According to an arrest affidavit, 46-year-old Antoinette Marie Laskou, is dealing with charges of attack with a lethal weapon without intent to eliminate, worsened animal cruelty and battery.
Fort Lauderdale cops said they reacted around 2 p.m. on March 7 to 3000 E Las Olas Blvd. after getting a call about a battle that broke out in between Laskou and another individual.
Authorities said Laskou pressed and after that punched the victim.
After the victim pressed her away, Laskou then took out a knife and “advanced on the victim,” cops said.
According to the report, the victim’s dog got in between the 2 and Laskou then got the dog and threatened to cut its throat.
Authorities said Laskou then punched the dog in the face and utilized the knife to cut the dog’s leash.
Two witnesses explained the event to authorities, which led cops to take Laskou into custody and carry her to a close-by prison.
