A dog discovered covered in cuts, scratches and other nasty injuries is going to require its tail cut off.
The male bull lurcher, called Clancy by the dog warden, was discovered wandering off around Matts Hill Lane, Hartlip.
A representative for Swale council’s roaming dog service stated: “After a journey to the veterinarians it was found that, along with the severe damage to his tail, he has various cuts and abrasions and was struggling with both fleas and worms.
” He’s given that gotten treatment for parasites and is beginning a strong course of prescription antibiotics and discomfort relief.
” Unfortunately, the damage to his tail is so extreme that it will require cutting off in the future.
” He’s got such a terrific personality and was doing his utmost to rest on our warden’s lap in the waiting space.”
