He added that although the canine usually goes to the physiotherapy division building close by, it returns to the mortuary at evening.“Also, the dog doesn’t mingle with stray dogs in the area, and it is particular about its food,” he stated.

Dr Maya Gopalakrishnan, who’s been offering home-cooked meals to the canine ever for the reason that hospital employees advised her about him, stated, “He eats egg and fish but isn’t fond of rice. We don’t know what the dog’s owners had been feeding him.”

Dr Maya has named him “Ramu”.
