GENESEE MUNICIPALITY, MI– A property owner and his dog passed away in a home fire early Friday early morning in Genesee Municipality, according to fire authorities.
Genesee Municipality firemens were called at 5:53 a.m. after a next-door neighbor reported flames and smoke originating from a house in the 3200 block of Drexel Opportunity, Assistant Chief Don Fremd informed MLive-The Flint Journal.
En route to the scene, firemens discovered that the house owner’s truck remained in the driveway, however upon 2 searches, the male and dog were not discovered.
” Cops got on scene and stated there was heavy fire throughout the entire home,” Fremd stated. “We had a fully-involved home fire.”
