According to Guide Dogs, 294 puppies have been bred by the nonprofit and 29 different pups had been bred by way of help canine charities and information canine colleges, making Trigger the daddy of 323 pups. He is a dad to 39 liters, together with one in 2021 that saw 16 puppies, a file for Guide Dogs, the charity mentioned.

Janine Dixon, the pinnacle of breeding operations at Guide Dogs, mentioned in a press release that the canine’s “fantastic, light nature and wonderful well being” made him a “excellent asset” for the breeding program. 

“We cannot overstate the influence that Trigger has in serving to us to supply so many information dogs for folks with sight loss,” Dixon mentioned. Nine of his daughters and son Pierre will assist convey ahead a brand new era of information dogs, Dixon added.
