A person has been arrested following a flat hearth in Cleethorpes.
Humberside Fire and Rescue Service stated crews have been referred to as to the blaze at a ground-floor flat in Neville Street shortly after 01:00 GMT on Monday.
No-one was critically injured however a neighbour was handled for smoke inhalation after he tried to rescue a canine from the property.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to hazard life, police stated.
Fire officers stated one man had managed to flee after the blaze began in the lounge and unfold to an above flat.
Humberside Police has appealed for witnesses or anybody who might have seen suspicious exercise within the space to contact the drive.
