A WOMAN will likely be energy walking a full marathon alongside the streets of Worcester subsequent month to boost money for retired police dogs (RPD) in reminiscence of her beloved German Shepherd Murphy.

Jill Byrne has labored with West Mercia Police’s canine part for round twenty years, and through that point, she has taken on three RPDs.

The final of her dogs, a German Shepherd referred to as Murphy, handed away aged 14 in January.

On April 21, Jill will likely be walking a marathon across the rivers, streets and canals in Worcester to boost important funds for the West Mercia Retired Police Dogs Fund.
