St Andrews and the East Neuk of Fife is set to be taken control of by giant Scottie dogs.
The sculptures will be sponsored by regional businesses and embellished by artists to develop a vibrant walking path which will start in September.
Proceeds from the path and last auction will go to the Maggie’s Centre.
Annie Long from Maggie’s Dundee informed STV News the money will help support individuals coping with cancer.
She said: “We have almost 300 individuals in St Andrew’s participating in Maggie’s for psychological take care of cancer.
“We see more than 13,000 visits every year from people who come to us for emotional care alongside their NHS treatment.”
Over the years there have actually been numerous sculpture routes throughout Scotland raising money for various charities.
Charlie Langhorne is from Wild in Art which has actually arranged the previous occasions.
He said: “It’s about that shared experience – and we’re residing in some beautiful difficult times and it’s a totally free public activity so there’s no barrier to entry.
“As you walk round the corner and you bump into one of our giraffes in Edinburgh – or one of the Maggie’s Penguins from Dundee…it just makes you smile and on the back of that smile great things happen.”
Local businesses are enthusiastic the path will motivate more individuals to check out Fife after the hectic summertime season.
