Star of Geordie Shore, Vicky Pattison, has joined a marketing campaign to assist discover a home for eight-year-old Mason, a German Shepherd cross in a Telford kennel who has been dubbed ‘Britain’s most undesirable canine’.
Mason has spent 5 years in kennels after being deserted in 2019, along with his rescuers at Hilbrae Rescue Kennels saying he was discovered very skinny and really distrustful.
Two weeks in the past, a marketing campaign to seek out him his eternally home was relaunched by Shropshire Canine’s Cheryl Gibson, who works to lift the profile of dogs in rescue centres.
Now, TV persona Vicky Pattison has joined the marketing campaign, sharing his story along with her 5.5 million followers on Instagram.
She wrote: “This is Mason. Britain’s Most Unwanted Dog who has spent just about his entire life in kennels. But I’d wish to imagine that we are able to change that.
“I’m so extremely happy with the superb group I’ve right here on Instagram. You’re a beautiful bunch who really care about animals and all I ask is that you just learn this, share it and hopefully it will get seen by the proper person who needs to present Mason his eternally home.”
Cheryl stated she was “over the moon” that the star had picked up Mason’s trigger.
She added: “I’m simply actually grateful to Vicky for getting behind Mason like she has, what an absolute legend to make use of her platform to focus on a canine we have now been so determined to get observed.”
Mason is on the lookout for a quiet home, with a household skilled with bigger breeds.
