A dog groomer who went to Whitley Bay for the very first time and after that moved her business 360 miles north hasn’t “pawsed” for idea when about the life-altering choice.
Tracy Scott, 50, had an effective business, Castle Canines, in Somerset that ignored Dunster Castle, near Minehead, which had a big customer list with complete order books and led an active social life belonging to the regional RNLI team and a rugby coach.
But a brief vacation break in Whitley Bay altered the course of her life embarking her on a brand-new business and life journey.

She said: “I came up to visit a friend in October and fell completely head over heels in love with the place. Whitley Bay is just by far the friendliest place I’ve ever visited in my life and on the day that I was due to fly back to Bristol, I made the age-old mistake of looking in an estate agents window.”
Tracy saw a property in the town with an adjacent building that was best for her dog grooming business, and without any doubt she put a deal in and discovered herself the owner of a brand-new home at the opposite end of the nation.
The beauty salon has a big stainless-steel bath which is huge enough for her routine Saint Bernard customer, an electrical lifting table and an industrial clothes dryer particularly for dog grooming which does the job as rapidly as physically possible.
Tracy’s course to her dog grooming business wasn’t at all gotten in touch with man’s buddies as she began life as a law enforcement officer in the Hampshire Constabulary prior to ending up being an army better half and living in Germany with her now ex-husband.
Looking to inhabit herself, she trained as an electrical expert and a swimming instructor.
Later, requiring to spend more time with her kids she tried to find a regional job with versatile times and she began dog walking. Her love of dogs progressed and caused her opening Castle Canines when she separated and returned to Minehead.
Tracy said: “Things are all forming for me now. My child is going to Glasgow University which is just a few hours away rather than 9 hours from Minehead and I’m truly satisfied at how available Tyneside is with Metros, trains, and airports so simple to get to.
“Everyone is so friendly, and I’ve never seen so many dogs walking along the beautiful coastline. I really have made the best decision of my life and thankfully my dog clients are benefiting from my move too.”
