FREE SOIL — On Sunday, individuals from close to and much gathered at Circle Rocking “S” Children’s Farm for the 28th annual Blessing of the Animals occasion.
Those from as close to as Ludington and even a customer from Germany attended the festivities.
The annual prayer service and blessing occurred outdoor, within the neighborhood of the barn. Following this, a second of remembrance was noticed for animal companions which have died, with many inserting pictures of their late pets and flowers by the St. Francis statue outdoors the barn.
Various animals, starting from dogs and chickens to fish have been current alongside their handlers.
Mary Ving’s tiny canine Scup stood subsequent to her as attendees mingled. A foster, transport and security supplier with Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Network, Mary had adopted Scup.
Ving defined that Scup, a feminine cairn terrier, and her different adopted canine help in her foster efforts.
“They are good little hostesses for the ones we bring in,” Ving stated fondly of her dogs.
