A Florida male strolling his dog Tuesday early morning led deputies to a hurt theft suspect after identifying a path of blood leading inside his next-door neighbor’s house, authorities stated.

The dog walker informed deputies that he found his next-door neighbor’s windows were smashed which there seemed blood on the front door, the Brevard County Constable’s Workplace stated.

Reacting deputies got in the house and discovered a guy, later on determined as 32-year-old Jonathan Leaf, resting on a bedspread in blood, according to authorities.

Leaf got up as deputies were within and informed them he “was not sure of the previous night’s occasions,” the constable’s workplace stated.
