Lee County Sheriff”s Office deputies have actually jailed a man implicated of beating a dog throughout a domestic disagreement in Bonita Springs.
Krishna Barclay, 24, deals with charges of felony animal cruelty, felony criminal mischief, attack and blockage without violence.
According to LCSO, the event took place morning on Tuesday off Crest Preserve Circle. The victim informed deputies Barclay, of Bonita Springs, ended up being angered when she didn’t address her phone and declared he beat her dog, a 10-month-old hound mix called Baby.
The victim drove home and discovered injuries and feces on Baby, LCSO said.
While the victim took care of her dog, Barclay is implicated of smashing her phone and threatening to assault her. The victim got away with her hound for her safety and a samaritan called 911.
When deputies showed up, they observed scratches and swelling on the dog’s face.
The hound is anticipated to make a complete healing.
Dog owners wish to make certain Barclay can never ever do anything like this once again.
“He’s like my child, you know, he is like a child,” said Janet Graham, a dog owner.
Coming home to see your kid, bloody, bruised, swelling, and covered in feces is every parent’s headache.
“It’s beyond my understanding why anybody would do that to a helpless animal,” said Josie Basile, another dog owner.
Graham believes Barclay’s abuse shouldn’t be forgotten.
“If he ever has children and gets angry with his wife or his girlfriend, what he will do to the kids?” Graham said. “I mean, that’s a scary thing. So I think, yeah, the right thing to do is to make it known that he has this in his past.”
Barclay was launched from prison on Wednesday after publishing bond, records reveal.
