Five sheep have died after a canine attacked round two dozen livestock animals in a Northamptonshire farmers’ area.
The incident occurred between 10.30am and 4.30pm on Monday, April 22 in a area within the village of Farthinghoe, close to Brackley.
Police say the sheep had been amongst 24 livestock animals believed to have been attacked by an unknown canine. Five others required stitches and an additional 14 had been prescribed a course of antibiotics for his or her accidents.
