Volunteers from a Bucks County fire department saved a dog from a frozen lake and now they are being revered for the brave act.

The dog’s owner Dan Daccardi took the 65-pound black laboratory, Jack, to Brickyard Pond in Quakertown just so he might utilize the toilet prior to starting an automobile trip, 6ABC reported.

Jack started chasing after ducks and wound up on the ice, triggering him to fall under the frozen water.

Daccardi and his other half called 911, leading to the Quakertown Fire Department rescue group reacting to their call for help.

” They’re coming out to conserve him,” Daccardi stated in a video. “By doing this, young boy!” he then stated to Jack.

Daccardi thinks Jack remained in the water for about thirty minutes and was concerned time was going out when the rescue group got to him, according to 6ABC.

” That’s when we’re believing hypothermia like, ‘please God, please get him out,'” Daccardi stated through the news outlet.

Lt. Andrew Snyder and firemen Dylan Winters got Jack out of the water securely.

” Thank you, Lord. He’s up! He remains in the boat!” Daccardi reacted. “He’s our pleasure. We were fretted there about him for a while, however he’s great now.”

Jack is now back in your home and safe 2 days after the occurrence.
