A LOYAL canine discovered subsequent to her lifeless proprietor has been adopted by a firefighter known as to the scene.
James Trounson helped police and medics acquire entry to the property.
There, he found eight-year-old terrier Martha shivering and forlorn beside the girl.
James — in a crew from Helston Community Fire Station in Cornwall known as to the home in Breage — was touched by the canine’s unhappy look.
He requested if he may take care of the hound after which adopted her after RSPCA checks.
James, a builder by commerce, stated: “She comes with me everywhere.
“We already have a collie called Merlin and we were looking for a mate for him.
“We took her home and gave her a good bath.”
He added: “She’s got a complete new life now.
“She sleeps on the bed at night with Millie the cat.”
