The idea of creating images with small details and items is to test whether or not the human eye can catch all of them.
Then there’s the factor of perspective. One set of eyes can look at an image from one angle and pick certain details. Another set of eyes can pick up details not seen by the first person by looking at the image from another angle.
This applies more to optical illusions, which can be physical, physiological, and cognitive.
We have also seen similar image challenges where the same picture is published twice with subtle differences in the second one from the first. The challenge is to notice the subtle differences in a limited amount of time.
On those lines, this clever art showing people engaged in various activities in a public park is a test for the human eye.
